It's a shame that someone had to lose....

Best game I've ever witnessed. Rodney is a load and your offense was everything advertised. This won't be Lincoln's last trip here. I told my wife when we went into OT, win or lose, both of these coaches will be back in this playoff and will likely meet again. Glad Baker won't be there though. Sheesh. Scary bunch you've go there. Any play can be taken to the house. We've seen the guy you've got next year, and he's incredibly talented too. Boomer Sooner!

Thanks. Good luck vs the tide, I think OU would have needed a lot of luck to beat them as well as uga will. They look pretty good tonight or is Clemson missing Watson more than everyone thought.
Saban has a pretty stout record vs former assistants, good luck dogs if the score holds up in the Sugar.

Thanks and want to say this. In another thread I was pretty adamant that I did not consider Baker a dual threat in the sense of L'ville's Heisman winner and Manziel etc. That was not intended as a slight in any way. He definitely is athletic and like I said, compares to Aaron Rodgers and I also compared him to Aaron Murray in that regard, who I consider the greatest QB we've ever had at UGA and we've had some very good ones. His ability to prolong plays and then throw is what sets him apart. We played great defense on your last touchdown drive and it still didn't matter.

Good luck to him in the NFL.

Regarding Bama, I'd honestly rather face them than OU. I was literally holding my breath every possession hoping you guys wouldn't break out some explosive play, no matter the down and distance. Bama, though they may be the most talented team we play on both sides of the ball, is football we're used to.

As I said in another thread, than goodness your D was not elite. If it was even close to it, you would've been the odds on favorite easily and likely have won it all. Good luck next year....til we meet again. ;-)
