When a kid decommits like Daniels did it's hard for me to miss him. I'm not sayin I didn't want him or the coaches didn't want him or that he won't be any good. But after years of contact and us being his leader for a while and then a commitment he decommits after one weekend in Austin with a team that hasn't made him a priority until they had too. That tells me that he didn't whole heartedly want to be here. And if you aren't ready to give everything you got to college football it prolly isn't gonna work. The demands of a college football player has never been higher and if a player has regrets about where he went or wishes he had went somewhere else he's not gonna be productive at the place he's at. I guess what I'm saying is now that it's played out its easy to see that he really didn't wanna be here and if he didn't wanna be here he was prolly never gonna be successful here. So much of being successful is finding the right place and the 100% desire to be there. I said in the chat the other night that I don't care what state a player comes from as long as he loves the university and is good at football. To me that's a recipe for success. Best of luck to the kid and we will see u in the cotton bowl.
