Still need clarification on the Missouri law. If he has been receiving significant $ payments the few months prior to NSD, that causes all sorts of issues. Assuming he (or his mom *ahem*) has spent most of the money he's gotten, then either those NIL groups just lose all the money if he flips, or they will make him pay the money back.
If the latter, then they are essentially holding him hostage and preventing him from flipping, as he probably can't afford to pay them back (and would likely get sued). Unless of course, the school he flips to offers to pay the bill.
Either way, if OU is willing to pay that bill, then what is the $$ advantage to not flipping to OU at NSD? Last I read, the NIL offerings at the two schools were very comparable, but Mizzu allows for early payments. If that's the only real difference, then there's no reason not to flip.
If he doesn't have to pay it back, then there REALLY is no reason not to flip, as OU wouldn't even have to help pay the bill. He'd be double dipping essentially. And Missouri NIL would have no one to blame but themselves.
