The wife and I went to a wedding last night. I visited w a NFL defensive coach who said that Romo was one of their toughest QBs to prepare for. Said he was really gifted at audibling into another play/offense and that he had an amazing knack to read defenses.

Romo's work last night was as good as it gets and I haven't heard such in-game analysis since the days of Hank Stram.
Never rooted for Romo as a Cowboy quarterback, but what a breath of fresh air he is as a color analyst. I wish he did college games.

There are many threads on the internet about his uncanny ability to predict plays. I was never a Cowboys fan. I think he’s a very good football analyst. Hard to see how people don’t get that.

He just needs to speak through a vocal synthesizer to de-fry his voice; no argument from me on his analysis. There's probably just someone I used to know, the memories of whom are buried in the deep recesses of my mind, who talked like him.... who I hated.

Romo's delivery is horrible in my opinion. Wish he'd quit yelling here we go into the microphone before every 3rd down during the game. He's great at predicting plays, and talking about what to audible into against different looks though.

His best attributes: enthusiasm and knowledge of the game. He has really improved in terms of his delivery since he 1st started. He is already being called the best of all analysts and I am definitely not a Cowboy fan.
