Is Du'Vonta Lampkin a difference maker?

I'm especially curious to see what this guy brings to our DT spot:

I know he's had a rough start with the coaches at the start of his college career, but what's the word on him now?

I want to think people are sleeping on OU's defense, and between guys like Caleb Kelly, Obo, Lampkin, and Stephen Parker they are poised to drastically improve over last year.

This could be a really good OU defense. We have most of the pieces to fill up the lost starters with kids with a much greater upside. I think the only one we might miss off of the defense is The Bear.

The word on Lampkin now is that he could be a difference maker type, but he needs to lose about 30 pounds, so he could play more than two consecutive snaps.
