As many of you have seen on social media by now, Oklahoma hired an assistant general manager. Jim Nagy is making good on his promise to bring in additional minds with NFL experience, as the Sooners are bringing in Taylor Redd. He's had a 15-year career in coaching and personnel, beginning at Bowling Green as a student assistant in 2010 before a graduate assistantship (2015-17) at Wake Forest and a six-year stint as a scout (2018-24) for the New England Patriots. Since July of last year, Redd has worked as a senior consultant for The Athlete Group, which is obviously helmed by Jake Rosenberg. Rosenberg, for those unaware, has been a central figure behind the scenes for Oklahoma as an advisor to the staff/admin. The Sooners announced a partnership with Rosenberg's firm last summer.

While we're on the topic of the OU front office, this provides an opportune juncture for me to dish a little bit more on a few topics I briefly referenced last night during OUInsider Live.
