Someone posted how their was a similarity between Nebraska and Scott Frost losing a lot of close games and OU this year. Scared me but I think we have a long way to go before we conclude this is more than a random fluctuation. It did get me thinking that at some point inside the program the players and those in the know (i.e. not us Scoopers) lose confidence in the coaches. I would love to know when things started to really turn south in Nebraska and where we stand at Oklahoma.
I personally believe in Brent and am willing to wait a couple of years till he gets his players in and has a chance for his efforts at improving the culture pay dividends. I won't start to get seriously concerned until we lose to an SMU or continue to show no improvement in the defense. I for one was pleased with the progress in the Bowl Game if not the outcome.
