If Josh Heupel hadn't been fired

This really got me thinking. What if Bob had kept JH and he was running this offense this year? My question is how do you think the season would have turned out and would be have made the run and we be in the playoffs like we are currently? I never hid the fact that JH was was not qualified to be running the offense at a school like OU and still stand by that. My opinion is that we would have been better simply because Mayfield is just really good. However, I think his hands would have been tied and we would have still been running the same predictable offense, doing the same old chinese drills and looking all confused! Oh how I do not miss that and its been a breath of fresh air watching this offense compared to the past few years.

I think that if JH was still here, we would not be in the top 4 and most likely would have dropped at least 3 games simply because he would not have gotten the most out of his offense and the defense would have been more compromised because of the offense. We are blessed that Bob made the choice that he did, not sure what happened during the UT game, but loss fueled the fire in both the staff and players and they haven't looked back since. What are your thoughts on this topic?
