Two weeks in a row, Bob has refused.....and been pretty testy about he subject of Hatari Byrd's disappearance from game action and it's affect on the play of the defense. Two weeks in a row, he's been set up with questioning to say that Johnson being inserted and Byrd being removed is the difference. Both times, he's gotten pretty agitated.....and refused to acknowledge the personnel change as a contributing factor to better play.
While it's stubborn, you gotta admire him for having his player's back. I know people get frustrated when he says "players gotta play better" when we lose but I think the difference in our nickel defense over the last two weeks is pretty obvious and Bob refuses to hang it on Byrd.
