I’ve been told by fans of Iowa State that there is such thing as a Regular Season Conference Championship in the Big 12. Do you guys believe it exists?

Not as long as there's a conference championship game that for me, can negate a team with the best conference record during the regular season from winning a championship if it loses the CCG, as Iowa State did last December.
I suppose one could claim a regular season championship, but it means nothing unless a team wins the CCG.....and that diminishes to some degree the importance of a regular season.

This is something Okie State would do. Probably buy all their players regular season champion rings

Depends on what sport you are talking about. Basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, they all have a regular season champ and then there is the big 12 tournament champ. In football there is only one champ.

How many “shared” b1g Championships does Ferentz claim ? I’m thinking 2 or maybe 3 (divisional) and NO overall Conference Championships in 21 seasons ?

I thought they had won a couple conference championships under Ferentz? Oh well...I look forward to OU's next NC 😁

I apologize to the Hawkeye. Iowa/Ferentz has two Conference and 1 divisional since 1999. The BCS robbed them of the Rose Bowl bid in 2002 (which OU won)
The in-state Bedlam game with the Clones is huge and he has a slight advantage with them

I applaud Iowa State for this. They are and have been so shitty forever... good for them to pat themselves on the back for minor miracles that mean nothing.

We all congratulate someone on a daily basis that hasn't done anything - children, incompetent co-workers, etc. You name it.

This is our time to congratulate Iowa State for jack shit.

"Good for yoooouuuuu!," said in my best "Stan's Dad" voice from South Park.

Campbell's got the cyclones on the right track. Ferentz along with Iowa university is being sued by the blm.
Campbell took advantage of the super senior stuff, and brought back most his team. When you look at what he will have for 2022, it’s a big fat yikes. I think he loses like 19 starters for 2022, and that’s assuming Hall and Young come back.
