That game undoubtedly will be one for Sooner Lore. I have never seen a team so flat offensively just come roaring back with attitude. This was a game with basically no breaks....bad/untimely penalties...and the interceptions. Luckily the D buckled down and shut down the Vols seemingly strong offense in the second half. Game balls to the D (well done)...Shep...and Mayfield. The game was certainly worthy of a few extra gray hairs....thank you Sooner Magic. Welcome back my old friend.

One of the images that will always be engraved in my mind was when they showed the wildly celebrating Sooner sidelines when we were about to get the ball back with the score 17-10. This team KNEW they had it figured out and were going to win it much in the same way the 2000 team knew while still being down to Nebraska 14-0.

KCtornado, I looked in the mirror this morning and I'm convinced I have less hair than when I went to bed last night. :D That game last night took a pretty heavy toll on my nerves. Man it's been a while since OU has had a crazy game like that. What a great feeling to come out of it with a win though. Man it feels great to be alive this morning for sure!!! Hah

I can't believe how calm I was during the game, but when Sanchez intercepted the ball for the winner, I actually peed my pants a little. It just suddenly hit me that the Sooners had comeback for a signature win that I think will turn out to be more meaningful than the Sugar Bowl upset over Bama. The difference, IMO, is that the team and the coaches didn't quit. That is more impressive than winning a back and forth game as an underdog to me. I know that a lot of fans had already given up. Honestly, I had. Don't beat me up too bad, but I can't lie. I watched the game again early this morning, I was a much better fan. Now I've got my mind right again. BOOMER!

Yes Billy Ray...the Sooners flunked the mid term and aced the final and had all the correct answers. This was a good team win for sure, and Baker Mayfield has that no give up/fire up attitude that has been sorely missing. Just when you thought Coach Riley was flummoxed, you see some real coaching shine at the end. A great day in the Sooner Nation. I still have to pull up the score from last night to be sure I am not in some beer induced alternate mind.

You have to hand it to the coaching staff for making great halftime adjustments during both games this season. That's very encouraging. And, the players have responded, which is even more encouraging. BTW, I am very happy that Austin Seibert is a Sooner rather than a Volunteer. The missed FG was huge, and once we went into overtime, I felt like we were at an advantage knowing that we had the better kicker....even though that never was an issue. Still good vives.
