I’ve been saying this for awhile now and I know y’all are tired of hearing me pump up army, but now that tOSU pulled off the UM win, we will be put up on a chalk board against them.
They will compare our top 25 wins and losses
tOSU has 2 wins over teams in the CFP Top 25 Penn state and Michigan.
We have wins over ISU, West Virginia, and yes Army. They will be in the next poll as there are multiple teams on that 20-25 line that will lose this weekend.
If we beat Texas we avenge our only loss and that will add another top 25 team to our resume. Whereas Ohio State will have Northwestern who is also ranked.
We will then finish with 4 wins against CFP top 25 teams and tOSU will have 3. We won’t have a bad loss like them and we will have avenged our only loss in a rivalry game that is just as big as tOSU/UM game.
Army being ranked gives us a HUGE marquee non con win that tOSU can’t hang their hat on as TCU sucked this year AND we beat them by more on their HOME field. The committee has preached common opponents so much so I see them taking that into account as well.
