How about some trickery Sat. night?

Not always in Bobs wheelhouse, but anything to gain an advantage, Statue of Liberty, quick kick, halfback pass, fake field goal or punt. Bring it.
I really want to win this one at home, mercy, can't hardly wait.

I don't know fitty, that Westbrook trick pass sucked.....Just saying...

It used to be a given during his first 5 years. You're right, he's gone away from it. I hope it comes early and often, and I'm not just talking about the end-around.

I pray that we don't have to use any trick plays to fire up the team or to change the momentum of the game. I'm hoping we are out in front from start to finish and just play our game. Like you fitty, I can hardly wait and am getting nervous just thinking about this game!!!

How about a wrinkle instead of a trick play? E.g., Mixon and Perrine in the backfield - flare Mixon out towards the flat, Baker looks that way and then shuttles the ball to Perrine who has slipped pass the rushers after chip blocking (Q. Griffin must have gained 1500 yards on that play for us over his career).

We owe some wrinkle like that to Urban Meyer after that TE shuttle pass o Hernandez that killed us in the NC game vs UF.

Bob Stoops used trick plays in his early years with great success. Now it's other coaches doing it to Stoops. Even Clemson successfully used a fake punt in the playoff game. Always catching Bob Stoops off guard.
