So I made this observation/prediction with my Horn buddies and to the man they said ..oh no way.....Herman much better coach. Now.....well....hmmmm.
Strong...coached at Florida at DC. Had a great defenses and was well known in Florida as a great recruiter. Left Florida...went to Louisville. Had much success...won a bunch of ball games BUT he had Teddy Bridgewater. Goes to Texas.....fails.
Herman....Coached at OSU. Had great success. Heads to Houston. Wins a bunch a ball games....loses some head scratchers but has Greg Ward Jr. Goes to Texas and is failing. Do you see the resemblance? I made this comparison and the prediction that Herman would be Strong Pt. 2. The stable of QBs are terrible and as you can see...players are bolting for the NFL (early) and mind you they lost a ton on defense. The O was bad to begin with as you can see they even took a step back.
You can NOT take coaches in the likes of Herman and Strong and send them to a place like Texas. You need the CEO types that have been around and know the drill.
Texas will be lucky to go bowling and Herman will be out at the end of next year. Mark it down.
