Heading to Lubbock in the morning, to watch the three game softball series

Oklahoma at Texas Tech. The forecast for Friday in Lubbock is pretty wet. We may end up doing some standing around. I'd usually take about three or four shirts. Taking seven for contingencies.

Anybody else going to maybe the most important series for Texas Tech in two decades? Another member of this board and I and his wife, are leaving Plano at 9:15 Friday morning. I'm hoping for great weather. In Lubbock less than a week into the spring, not counting on it.

Yes, I am missing the NCAA tournament for this.

They moved game one from 6 p.m. to 2 p.m. It ended around 4:30 just as the three of us were walking up to the stadium. When we saw everybody emptying out of the stadium, I went, Uh oh. I guess OU feels no need to tell their season ticket holders when some of them drive on the road to see their team, that the game was moved up four hours. I'm not. But the couple I'm with is. They were, uh, disappointed. So was I but Tech decided to move it fearing weather, which didn't hit until after 10 p.m.
