Well the Christian school argument isn't fair. World view about our origins are shared by millions of people, whose view is called false. An atheistic view isn't neutral. If we were created, that's not a religious view, it's a truth view. And excluding that, is a religious statement. News organizations get protection in certain ways, because they are supposed to fairly present information. That has departed. They are advocates.

I'm going to stop now. I have a ton of other thought, but this isn't what the board is supposed to be about. I didn't want to run from your question.

Christian persecution complex.

There is no law that permits any religious person from practicing their beliefs, as long as it's not lead by the teacher/professor/etc. at public schools and universities as to comply with freedom of and from religion.

To those that want religion back in public schools, it's this simple: when they say that, they only mean their religion. Start letting an Islamic believer teach their beliefs and the Christians would be blowing o-rings.

Keep it separated. Keep it simple. Enjoy and celebrate your beliefs. There are numerous places to do so.

As for the politics...

I hope Trump does well. I have no faith left in our government, though. They have perfected the art of moving the populace around like chess pieces. Both sides have agendas, none of which genuinely benefit the citizens of this nation.

Trump seems like a pompous goon but he may not be able to be pushed around by men behind the curtain, which is instantly better than professional politician for hire Hillary.

in the original 13 colonies 11 colonies required that you be a born again Christian to hold ANY elected offices....and on another note Yale and Harvard originally were protestant Christian seminaries...So we have come a long ways from that. And some would say not in a good way...sure we cant have leave it to Beaver,,,but you can have leave the Believers alone and dont force them or anyone else that doesn't want to pay for unwanted contraception...Im a firm believer in one is responsible for their own morality and their own behavior and should be treated as such. If a woman wants to have an abortion its up to her, she is the one that has to live with her decision. But that doesnt make me for choice its just my choice to be pro life...let them do as they wish and live with the consequences..

Ive always wondered why they call it choice...I always thought the opposite of life is death?

I have an ex high school girlfriend who is still my dear friend that chose not to have an abortion and 6 years ago I found out I had a 3rd child so its an issue close to my heart, and I don't have to wear a vagina on my head to have an interest in that issue. And i am blessed by her decision...a great son that I would have never had..

As for the politics...

I hope Trump does well. I have no faith left in our government, though. They have perfected the art of moving the populace around like chess pieces. Both sides have agendas, none of which genuinely benefit the citizens of this nation.

Trump may not be the best man to have the job but right now I think he is best type of man for the job we need. We need leadership and fiscal responsibility for our people...we have given away trillions of dollars of our money to other countries..why not spend those here...its just common sense...

I think as a whole we have been sold out whether dems or rep....it matters not. Trump if he drains the swamp and brings back civility amongst the people and gives people besides the rich hope then he is the right man...everyone is griping about his billionaire cabinet....has anyone that mentions that ever been a billionaire. No... My hopes is that these guys are so above the pay grade they cant be bought and they will do what is right for this country. Trump could care less if he got reelected and that is a good thing as long as he does exactly as what he says. We have been lied to for years...cant remember that last time I heard a politician not lie right through his teeth...and then on top of that the media embellish it even further. So our country is not healthy
I am just hoping Trump can fix it...regardless of what any think HRC was not even close to being the answer....
