Wonder how many CFB coaches will be at the Union - Southlake Carroll game or Jenks - Bixby game tonight? Not far apart between Union and Bixby stadiums with plenty of D1 talent from all four teams playing.
The Jenks - Bixby matchup is between last year's 6A-1 and 6A-2 champions. History says Jenks should romp, but Loren Montgomery, former Jenks OC, is doing a good job building Bixby into the next Jenks. Game could be interesting if Tanner Griffin and Nic Roller from Bixby do damage early.
In so far as the Union - Southlake Carroll game. Both have lots of new starters, will be an interesting matchup that doesn't mean much but bragging rights. Will see if Southlake can cope without cut blocking like they get to do in Texas. Took out lots of Union and Jenks players the past few seasons when they traveled to Texas and got players hurt that way.
