Oklahoma (26-16) opens a short midweek set with Alcorn State this evening in Norman. Five games on the slate for the week with Sam Houston State heading to town this weekend.
Best case scenario for the week would have Oklahoma heading into next week's game with Wichita State sitting at 31-16. That would mean winning all five games on the schedule this week. Let's not make any excuses. Four wins should be expected.
* Corey Copping returns to the starting line-up for Oklahoma this evening. He'll be making his first start since March 15 when he threw six innings in a win vs. Hawaii. He'll be a key component moving forward and you would like to see him work 5-6 innings today. Not sure if they have a pitch limit on him.
OU line-up:
1.) Kolbey Carpenter - 2B - Named Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday
2.) Taylor Alspaugh - RF - Reached base in 17 straight games (.353/.430/.397)
3.) Craig Aikin - CF
4.) Anthony Hermelyn - 1B
5.) Sheldon Neuse - SS
6.) Hunter Haley - LF
7.) Austin O'Brien - DH
8.) Chris Shaw - C
9.) Quin Walbergh - 3B
