Tulsa vs OU

Few notes I took during the game

Westbrook is a pro. Better than Stills at same point in college. 2nd - 3rd round. Possible 1st. 4.4 speed. Love skill set, huge ceiling he's only beginning to tap.
Comes out of route on scramble & holds block 30 yards down field as a frosh.. haha. great stuff

- Bake: can make any throw. NFL arm. TBD on NFL mind. Backup in NFL at this point. Gets ramped up too much at times and tries to make perfect pass, when doing so he tries to place the ball losing accuracy instead of trusting fundamentals & slinging it
Excellent pocket awareness
Edit: after game note. Can play in league. See a better Brian Hoyer at this point. Keeping Mom's & Dad's happy with distribution. Outside of the scramble hitting Andrews for TD the 2nd best play he had was the pass to Miller. Went through 3 progressions in under 2 seconds. Many NFL QB's can't do that, excellent stuff. Seeing more & more of what impressed me so much in spring game 2 years ago.

- Striker: In trying to blow up the QB/strip ball/or over pursuing he's lost out on at least 20 sacks/TFL in career. Needs 2 focus on getting 1 hand on the guy first & stop trying to make SC top 10 every time he's back there

- Parker: the blatantly obvious 5 star recruit is a lock down corner at Safety. May be best safety in coverage I've ever seen as a sophomore. Can't think of 1 who's been better at same point in career. Needs to work on his run support

- OL: not giving backs a chance. Bake doing great job getting out of fast collapsing pocket. Where is Savage?

- Is Tapper playing through injury or just missing loss of Phillips, & Grissom? Not looking like the same player. Getting better as game goes along

- wth is Neal doing as a KR?

- 7:50 to go in 1st.. Perine, get outside the B gap one time. With OL struggling the last place you want to run is between the tackles. He's yet to go outside of them. Don't believe he can play at next level at this weight with inability for quick, explosive cuts - see Trent Richardson
Could be similar to Leveon Bell when he wasn't great his rookie year & had to drop 20 pounds to be more elusive with quicker cuts. Believe it's the latter

- 3:41 remaining in 1st. Great job by all 3 DL on 3rd & 1 for Dominique to clean up. Good progress fellas. See ya Romar, good play
Note: Evans isn't below average. Don't see how Dom isn't getting rotated out some. Biggest liability on the D

- Beautiful call Linc. Love the motioning going on presnap

- 11:40 2nd. Clear out with crossing route under.. nice call Linc

- Andrews looks very impressive physically. Great play.

- Don't show Mike in the booth. The D is going to nut up

- Don't understand Gundy's decisions for his rotation. Has Mixon or Perine gotten 3-4 consecutive carries?

- Mixon, what a freak athlete

- ST coaching - aside from Bond's great play ST have been disappointing. On majority of PR it looks like they have no intention of doing anything more than a fair catch. Shep is safest option at PR, but probably not the best
