When Neville Gallimore signed with Oklahoma, he was supposed to be a player who could carry on the tradition of great defensive tackles in Norman.
The No. 83 ranked player in the country and the No. 9 defensive tackle coming out of the Canada Prep Academy, Gallimore was going to help revitalize OU’s defensive front.
But after two seasons of competition, Gallimore has started just 11 games and has logged just 1.5 sacks. After recording 4 tackles for a loss as a freshman, Gallimore seemed to regress last season garnering just 1 TFL.
His total tackles also fell from 40 as a freshman to 28 last season.
