*Ashton Julious is Oklahoma's second offensive line commitment from Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna C.C. following Jeff Vinson in the 2009 class. He is the third player from the program overall as former Sooner linebacker Mike Balogun was also a Lackawanna product in the class of 2008.
*In fact the trio are the only Pennsylvania products to commit to the Sooners in the Bob Stoops era.
*He is Oklahoma's second commitment from the mid-Atlantic region since Charles Tapper (Maryland) in the 2012 class joining Ricky DeBerry (Virginia, 2015).
*Though he is a product of Pennsylvania, he was born and raised in SEC territory. He is only the second South Carolina native to commit to the Sooners under Stoops and the first since Eric Huggins in the 2005 class.
*He is the third junior college commitment in Bill Bedenbaugh's tenure following 2015 signees Jamal Danley and Quinn Mittermeier.
*His listed 330-pounds is good for a three-way tie for No. 8 on the largest offensive lineman committed to the Sooners along with Duke Robinson and Brandon Keith.
Hoping to stumble onto some more...
