Oh don't get me wrong I liked the move too. It had HUGE upside!! But it was certainly a roll of the dice (willy nilly) type move. Wish DGB had stayed for this year. He had the potential to have a monster year, especially with knowing now how Baker turned out. When DGB declared, the QB spot looked pretty weak.
And I never thought of it being a back breaker for Norvell. Did Norvell get fired first?? Or did DGB declare first?? Maybe DGB already got word to Stoops he wasn't sticking around and like you said it was the situation that finally did Norvell in.
