I said a few months ago the OU Football program was turning into Nebraska. Proud fan base, unrealistic expectations, not enough in state players to support an elite program, and can no longer recruit any talent from TX due to the SEC. The venom I recieved on this site was fierce. Say what you want about coaching and schemes, the bottom line is that OU has a huge talent shortage right now and a fan base that wants to fire everyone after every loss. OU may need a new coach, but if that next coach does not upgrade the talent level, the results will be the same.
