At least we got a little love from them this past week...but even at #3 the CFD Experts show was joking about being just an arena team/league with no defense (even though OU is in the top 10 in defense efficiency.) Got a kick out of them trying to discount OU remaining in the playoffs and still bringing up a no CCG. I seem to recall playing against the #11 team for one. Finally, Mayfield's a candidate because we don't know how to play defense (guess they still don't realize our defenses have to defend almost twice as many plays as other conferences do...2 point FL screams juggernaut offense, good luck defending that team for the SEC title, Bama!) if QB's outside the Big12 got to play in Baker's conference, they might look better too. While saying all of this, they still rank OU #2-#4...
Wish these analysts would make up their mind...
ESPN gonna ESPN. Forrest Conoly doing it now. Got us at 6...no defense, no competition, "I'm not impressed. It's a basketball league, others are more deserving and OU is just a regular season champ, their OOC schedule is all they've got going for them."
Man, hope a player and/or coach was watching....that show would give them all the bulletin board material needed to beat anybody...convincingly.
