2024 fast-rising DE Wyatt Gilmore.

In speaking to sources, the Sooners feel really good about this one. That doesn’t mean it’s a done deal or anything like that, but what I do know is that with the Oregon visit set this coming weekend, and there could be a decision forthcoming.

The DE from the land of 10,000 lakes took his official to OU this past weekend. Sources said that Gilmore and his family “really felt at home and they fit what (OU) is trying to do. He’s a replica of Vasek last year. A kid that people are gonna come on to late and when they do you’ll see his stock soar.”

I will keep a close eye on things here, and I know and you know Oregon can jack some things up. Still, from what I’m being told right now, there is a lot of confidence in Norman regarding their chances with Gilmore.
