*** First, I’m told that Sooner’s safety coach Brandon Hall will be out seeing 2025 Galveston (TX) Ball five-star safety Jonah Williams tonight.
OU is very, very high on Williams’ list and that should remain the case for the foreseeable future with how much Williams seems to show up in Norman.
*** Elite 2026 Missouri City (TX) Fort Bend Marshal safety Isaiah Williams will be in Norman this weekend, again, for another visit to OU.
Again, Sooners safety coach Brandon Hall is showing his recruiting acumen.
*** I’m also hearing that OU cornerback/co-DC Jay Valai will be out seeing 2024 five-star Kobe Black. Still working on confirmation there, but I’ve also been told that Black COULD be at the OU/WVU game this weekend. We will see if that takes place as no one will 100% confirm that, but everyone PT and I have talked to says it’s very possible and something that OU feels has a decent chance of taking place.
If Black were to show up, it would be a huge, huge visit for the Sooners and seemingly give them more than a puncher’s chance with the elite DB.
