*** I will start with the bad news and just tell you all that five-star OL Ty Haywood won't be in Norman this weekend, per sources.
I know Texas was a place that Haywood was also linked to be visiting, but even they are suspect on that happening. So knowing those two things, the team that seems to be making a move is Texas A&M, with his teammate committing there this past week.
*** The Haywood news isn't great news for you all, but as things are trending negatively with Haywood, the exact opposite seems to be happening with five-star OL Michael Fasusi. By no means am I saying the Sooners lead for Fasusi, but the last visit made a big mark and the five-star will be back in Norman on April 25th as well. That makes it four visits since January and he still has his official in June to take place.
Either way, we will update you all as we get more on both five-star OL's.
*** On a good note, the Sooners are going to host 2027 DE/TE Zane Rowe.
Rowe is a player that has five-star talent, and as of today, I would bet he is one when those are handed out for the 2027 classes.
As for the Sooners, they like Rowe at DE. Rowe seems to really like that idea and has built a strong relationship with DE coach Miguel Chavis early on.
This will be Rowe's fourth visit to OU this spring as well, so as I say, "follow the visits."
