*** Let's start with 2025 Sooners' Rivals100 safety commit Omarion Robinson:
The top 50 overall player was back in Norman for the Sooners huge upset over the Crimson Tide after visiting the Hogs the week before when they took on Texas. So, where do things stand? Is there any concern there? Not if you believe what Man-Man and sources around him have said over the last 48 hours.
"That game was crazy! The atmosphere was out of this world," Robinson told me Sunday. "How the team played and stayed together for four quarters and never let up was something I noticed and that was why they won!"
Robinson went on to say this about his intentions with OU: "Boomer. That is home for me and my family."
Sources seemingly echoed that exact feeling by also telling OUInsider that Robinson and his family had some strong talks with the Oklahoma staff, and ultimately, reassuring them things were okay.
"Omarion and his mother. LaToya, seems to be very locked in with Oklahoma. She and Sooners safety coach Brandon Hall have built a very strong relationship. Same with GM Curtis Lofton. There is a trust there. They feel Omarion with be taken care of and his family feels that is where he will get the best development and will also be close to home. Man-Man is very much a family first type of kid, so that distance means something."
We can dive more into some other things that were said on this front after NSD, but some very definitive things were said that if I was to report would be very pro-OU. Just not in the habit of making or reporting such things because recruiting is too unpredictable. That said, hard to believe Robinson won't sign with OU at this point. If things do change in the next 10 days, it's would be a massive shock.

The elite '26 QB was massively impressed with the Sooners game day atmosphere and said, "The crowd was raucous. It was hard to hear the person next to you and I have never been to a game where the fans stormed the field. That was crazy. I loved it and can't wait to be out there one day in that type of atmosphere."
Of course, I asked how things are with the OC search and his thoughts on that situation. O'Neal made it clear that "as long as OU is all-in on me, I will be all-in on them."
It's a long way out until his NSD, but that is great news for OU to have their anchor still in tact for the 2026 class in O'Neal. The elite QB has a championship game next week and then his priority flips to recruiting for his class and building a relationship with the new OC.

"Visit was definitely one to remember. Was great seeing my former Carl Albert teammate and soon-to-be OU teammate, X (Xavier Robinson), tearing up defenses like he was last year. And it was great seeing our (OU) defense not giving up a touchdown vs Bama."
2025 Sooners 4-star DB commit Courtland Guillory:
"It was amazing. It was great seeing my future teammates dominate a top contender especially after facing the adversity that we have faced this season!"
