Oklahoma is looking for another TE for the 2026 class and things seem to be pinpointing to three-star Lincoln City (IN) Heritage Hills TE Tyler Ruxer. If the Sooners could add Ruxer to the 2026 class, it would give OU another high ceiling TE in the class to go with four-star TE Ryder Mix.
I was able to briefly exchange some texts with Ruxer over the last few days, and also reached out to some sources on how Ruxer's unofficial visit to Oklahoma over this past weekend. I am slated to talk with Ruxer over the phone on Tuesday night, so I hope to have more detailed update on where we are hearing and what we are feeling regarding the Sooners' pursuit of the Ruxer. Was originally going to speak with Ruxer on Monday, but he had an in-home with Northwestern that took up his evening.
