…Where the Good Lord Split Ya! Is an old saying I heard when I was a kid. It simply meant see ya! Bye! I agree that Jim Knowles is a really good defensive coordinator, but I don’t believe he is a $3.5+ million dollar DC. Especially when Brent Venables is our guy. Our defense will be better because we’ll have better athletes to go with our defensive guru. Like him as a head ball coach or not, there is no arguing BV’s defensive mind & coaching. My personal opinion is that Knowles will flop at PSU and there will be buyer’s remorse. Knowles has never gotten along with any of his bosses. Either they are all bad bosses or there is a traveling problem. My bet is the latter.
On another note… I don’t understand beating up Brandon, Parker, and any of the staff over their reporting on things like this. There is so much involved in this business that we have no knowledge or experience with. Brian Bishop loved and trusted these guys and I trust them too. I get frustrated and sometimes want to know more than I am entitled to, but if I ever got upset and frustrated enough to crash out… I’m pretty sure I would just cancel my subscription and try another site. It doesn’t make sense to pay to complain… unless you’re playing golf ☺️.
So to Knowles… Don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya! To the crashers… same.
