Does Brenen Thomson take the place of what we would have had in Anthony Evans?

Seems like the coaches got a VERY similar player and direct replacement in what they wanted from Evans, in Thomson....with a little more experience. Pettaway also a similar talent. It's almost like BV/Lebby has a concrete plan and refuse to stray from it. Refreshing.
