Sorry it's been a while, work has been treacherous. But y'all wanna know what I Knowles about Knowles.
First off, nothing has been finalized at the writing of this thread.
Second, the Jim Knowles to Norman is very real. Some people have been writing it off, and a lot of Ohio State fans are trying to cope with it by blasting 3rd and fourth party information out. But the reality is Knowles has now reached the Pinnacle of the college football world and makes this decision much easier if it goes the way I think it does.
Third, my source trust me bro and Cap have assured me it's a done deal and contracts have been signed......lol......But on the serious side of the information, My sources have told me that Knowles is wanting to be closer to his family and allowing his stepson to continue playing in Weatherford. It would be difficult to move the entire family to Columbus, but that hasn't happened as of yet because Knowles is in contact with BV and Joe C. About the DC job. Knowles wants full control over the defense and is asking for more money than what he is currently making at Ohio State. OU is ready to make him the highest pay defensive coordinator in the country and BV is satisfied with letting him control the defense since it is very similar to his.
Fourth, All of my sources indicate between a 65% and 75% chance this happens. Pretty similar to what Parker and Brandon have said. I feel fairly confident right now based on the information and scramble coming out of Columbus right now. Many are quoting how Knowle's fiance loves Columbus, but is unwilling to move there due to distance and wanting her son to finish high school. I believe there are too many factors that make Norman the consensus move for Jim Knowles at this point in his career. There is no more business for him in Columbus as One source told me, but he also has a chance to win a national championship in Norman in a much more relaxed and family orientated environment. I'll side on the high side with my sources and give this a 75% chance it happens.
Currently sourcing a few more local sources that know Jim Knowles fiance and have kept in contact with her. I do have a few sources up in Columbus that I am waiting on to get their insight. I will update the OP if I find out anything relevant.
