Did we ever know what really happened for Dillon to depart OU to Oregon?
Brent made it sound like Dillon wanted to be closer to home blah blah. But if you read Barry Trramel's article today , Brent made a fatal mistake believing he had his golden QB in Jackson Arnoled and chose not to pay Dillon to stay. We all know that was a colossal mistake and Jackson failed miserably. Obviously OU could not afford to pay both, .But i would think a GM like Nagy would have had a different take on letting Dillon leave and put the OU program in the hands of a new starter ( especially after the Alamo bowl 4 turnover disaster for Jackson).
