We had a solid DL/DE staff in place with Thibs and Cain with ties to big time recruits for the 2022 class and we let them go/lose those commits and SETTLE for these lazy hires…
We can rationalize all day long that Chavis is an up & comer and Tin Red Roof Inn is just an extension of BV and will help install/manage the defense, but at the end of the day they are bad hires for a place like Oklahoma.
I hope then next two defensive coaches are solid hires, but there is definite reason to be concerned with these hires and the staff that is being assembled.
