...of where I thought they'd be in year 1.
Obviously we knew we'd improve. I fully expected a top 30-40 defense... but this unit is playing like a top 10 defense.
Our DL looked like a MASSIVE strength today rather than a question mark... and we went up against a damn good and highly motivated offense, and gave up a whopping 7 points (last TD was garbage anyway).
Just... wow.
Was talking to my dad during the game... and we both agreed this is the first time in over 10 years we've actually been EXCITED to watch each defensive possession. I mean... defense was decent in 2013 and 2015, solid in 2020... but this defense... they're just DIFFERENT.
