As a '74 alum of HH, where we practiced in a field behind the church in which we were located and played all our sporting events "away", I want to congratulate the '15 team on back-to-back 3A state titles. A goal so lofty in my day that it wasn't even contemplated.
Also, my current high school (where my 3-boys graduated & where my wife teaches) Katy HS just knocked off Cibolo Steele 38 - 0 to return to the state championship game for their 4th consecutive year. The undefeated Tigers (with 8-shut outs this season) will take on undefeated Lake Travis next Sat. at NRG stadium. Though all my boy are well beyond HS we do have 3-state football championship rings in the safe for their efforts.
All my family needs now for a very merry Christmas is 2-more wins by the Sooners.
