Should I HAMMER Moser or feel his pain? As a successful coach both in North Carolina and later when I retired back in Oklahoma, it's I think, a fair question. The HAMMER side: OU makes WAY too many stupid mistakes via turnovers and dumb fouls. While that's Coaching in part, I have no doubt those issues have undoubtedly been addressed as infinitum by the Staff. Still it continues. One can argue that Moser and Staff simply can't get the point made that this must STOP or be GREATLY reduced. Another sore point is poor rebounding. Really poor. You can't regularly give teams 2nd and 3rd chances and expect to win. While we are typically outsized, rebounding in large part is DESIRE! Be physical, box out and want it more than the other guy. An old saying...Offense sells tickets, Defense wins games, REBOUNDING wins championships!

The FLIP side: Every Coach has lost their mind at times due to stupid, unexplainable mistakes that they've EMPHASIZED in practice not to do! It happens. Jeremiah Fears is a case in point. Obvious talent but very young and mistake prone. I believe he will grow out of this and is presently going through "growing pains." Jalen Moore's INCREDIBLE BUFFONERY the last 24 seconds last night is harder to explain. Fouling a 3 point shooter when you're up by 5 is unthinkable for anybody much less a Senior.

Sorry for the long post, but I'll finish by saying it's become an absolute MYSTERY what I'm seeing from game to game with this bunch. This post is neither Pro or Anti Coach but I think Moser gets one more year to get this fixed or we need to start looking elsewhere. THOUGHTS???
