First time for everything I guess. Like most of you on this board, I was distraught when Coach Montgomery bolted for the NFL. However, seeing how the players react to Coach Reynolds and the recruits to some extent, I am glad we were able to pluck Coach Reynolds from Stanford. I think our DL has improved by leaps and bounds, and recruits have noticed. I recognize he has not brought in any 2016 recruits yet, but I think it's just a matter of time. I would rather have a solid recruitter and an excellent teacher over a splashy recruiter with no substance. Don't get me wrong; I was a huge fan of Coach Montgomery's recruiting prowess but don't believe he got as much out of his players as he could have. I think OU is very fortunate to have Coach Reynolds. What say you gents?
