OMG, easily the dumbest article I've ever read. And JCon is right, this piece had to have been penned by a horn or a Sooner hater. "Colin Cowherd thinks he should be fired." F Cowherd and what he thinks. He is just another talking head who is trying to drum up ratings. As soon as I read that, I knew this article was b.s.

And who exactly would fire Stoops? His boss, Joe C? Unlikely since he was involved in the decision to suspend MIxon. Boren? Nope. He too was on-board with Joe C's decision. The Board of Regents? Also a no as they know the matter was handled appropriately even if they felt Mixon should have been booted.

In the end, this is some blogger's rant against OU. Mixon's paid a very heavy price for what he did, but it's in the past and both Mixon and OU are moving forward despite how much howling we hear from those who don't have a say in the matter. End of story.
