I've read a few comments praising the actions of Charlie Strong in releasing DuVonta from his LOI...They described Strong as a "Class Act". It is my understanding that Strong stood fast and never opted to release DuVonta. He was released by the University because he failed to meet the foreign language mandate. I find it disturbing when a coach can mislead a potential recruit by not being forthright with the truth..Strong knew his assistant was leaving for Florida...the one that specifically recruited Lampkin...I personally think the recruit should have the option of nullifying his commitment if it's found that he was recruited by act of omission or intentionally mislead in order to gain his services.......Just like the poor OSU basketball player that never received his promised Camaro! lol....
