Reports: Big 12 to move forward with fall football
NORMAN — On the same day two of the five Power 5 conferences pulled the plug on college football this fall, the Big 12 decided to press forward.
Reports indicated the league's presidents decided to move forward after meeting for more than an hour Tuesday evening. The league's athletic directors were scheduled to meet later Tuesday.
Conditions could still warrant a change in the coming weeks.

The revised conference schedule could be released as soon as Tuesday night.
For now, the Big 12 joins the ACC and SEC in planning to play football in the fall.
The Big Ten and the Pac 12 announced earlier in the day that they were scrapping plans for a fall season in hopes of playing football in the spring.
The Big 12 is planning on playing nine conference games plus one non-conference game.
Barring a change, OU will play Missouri State in its non-conference game. The game is scheduled for Aug. 29 but will be moved back by at least a week, likely more.
The Sooners and Bears will likely play Sept. 12.
OSU is scheduled to play Tulsa the same day.
The conference schedule is likely to start Sept. 26.
