the Sooner coaches had better get the team ready. For Texas, they may view the Red River Shootout as their "bowl game". With no aTm on the schedule, the only single game that could salvage their season, it would be a victory over OU.

Exactly! And that's why the John Blake win over texas is one of my all-time favorite wins in all of my years of watching the Sooners and the RRS. Beating your rival when you're expected to feels good, but beating your rival as an underdog is much better. They will be frothing at the mouth to be the ones to ruin our season when we meet in the Cotton Bowl.

But first, let's beat the Mountaineers while texas tries to regroup against the Horned Frogs in Ft. Worth. Hopefully when we do meet, OU will be undefeated and the horns will come limping in at 1-4.
