As a Clemson grad, just wanted to apologize for the poor sportsmanship of our fellow fans. Not all of us are cut from that cloth
1) hope both rbs are fine. Perine is a damned warrior
2) hell of a first half. Second just snowballed on y'all.
3) nothing but the best of luck to you next year. Beat Texas!

He's not really a poor sport. He was on the board before the game.
He likes to talk trash, and by our play, we've built up an entire mound of it.
We deserve the trash.

Best of luck to your team against Alabama!!! You guys have a damn solid team!!

This behavior is typical of a fan base unaccustomed to and starving for this kind of success. Not only that, they are following the lead of a coach that is the complete opposite of act like you've been there before. That's not a knock on Dabo, he's a great coach and that's just who he is.

No offense but you guys asked for the trash talk. Im not saying all ou fans are the same or deserve it. However, your team talked a lot of trash and there were plenty of ou fans on our boardd before the game claiming things like mayfield was better than watson. Had we lost i would expect nothing less than to have ou fans talk smack to us . Honestly its part of football. Its not a sport for the weak so why would it be any different for the fans. That being said there are terrible fans on every teams bandwagon. As for the ones on clemsons side i apologize for them. They are a minority though and i can promise we are not dumb rednecks from the south. Anyway it was a good game congrats on making it to the playoffs good luck next year and go tigers. Btw watson is the best qb in college football and if your being honest you know that too

I cannot argue with you on this one. We all have fans that have little connectible controls between mouth and brain. Now go beat the crap out of Bama for us.

Looking forward to playing them. Im not delusional in thinking we will destroy them but i think we will win. Either way i want no doubt left. If we win no one will be able to cast doubt on that win and if we lose we earned a spot to the end and got beat by a better team. Gonna be a tense game cause im clemson and my wife is alabama. Great time to be a tiger though.

OU has won 7 "real" national football titles. Using the Bama, USC and Notre Dame counting method shows 17. More than any from major college football.

OU is #5 on the NCAA's all-time winning percentage list with 861-319-53 (.7198). Clemson ranks #29. OU is major college football's most winning since WWII.

Only Notre Dame's all-time 310 losses is less than OU. Not counting Boise State's 159 losses in their very short football history.

Oklahoma never beat Santa Clara or Boise State. Some times the wannabe catches the big guy at precisely the right time. Imagine OU popping up on the Clemson schedule in 1938, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1978, 1984, 1985, 1986.

None of us will ever live to see Clemson achieving such heights.

Oops! OU did show up on Clemson schedule in 1972.

And now after that bit of nostalgia welcome back to the current day and age. First of all speculating

And now after that bit of nostalgia welcome back to the current day and age. First of all speculating how a team would fare against another team had they played 20 or more years ago is laughable at best. Secondly no one is disputing that oklohoma is a very storied program and deservedly so. But in recent years clemson has had your number. Doesnt mean you had a bad team. Lastly to say none of us will live to see clemson have that kind of success is an uninformed comment. To begin with we are a very young team now with so many freshman as starters already playing in the national championship. Add in the fact that we have had great recruiting classes recently and no end to that in the foreseable future. Then you look at the great coaches at clemson most of which have no desire to leave. Btw i think ou made a huge mistake letting bv go. Now clemson may fall on their face from this point on but thats extremely unlikely and all signs point to us being an elite program for a long time

There are better jobs than Clemson. When Dabo moves on by choice or because he gets fired, we should revisit this conversation. Clemson is hardly an 'elite program'. You folks are getting your day in the sun and that's great, but those orange and purple glasses have screwed with your self awareness.
