Baker was effective against an excellent Defense in their late season game. of course Baylor, coming back from a 20 to 7 deficit scored 996!!, but thats hardly a knock on Mayfield ! He produced 314 yards on 28 of 51, with four TDs and one INT while fighting through a fierce rush. Fairly athletic, decent feet, good pocket awareness, and a nice touch. I would think that with decent protection, He could cut down on the 9 INTs He recorded in 2013. While He can throw the bombs, His strength would be in Making use of OUs great running backs, short to int passing and moving the Chains. If Thomas, Hansen or Knight starts, then OU must be looking pretty good at QB!
