At what point does HS recruiting for blue bloods not mean much

There’s always some freshman that can come in and play right away, but not many. With NIL, why would I not focus on recruiting players already in college to come in and play right away, more seasoned bigger stronger than worry about some top 100-250 HS recruit? I gotta pay the HS recruit too so I might as well keep that money for someone that’s actually play College ball, even if it’s at a lower division.

HS recruiting as we know it for top schools is and will continue to change. It’s not nearly as important anymore , there I said it
