You know that Tech ended up in a three way tie for fifth at 4-5 in the conference, but won at Arkansas, who also lost to Toledo. At the end of the year, Arky was the third best team in the SEC. Maybe fourth. So the Vandy argument doesn't hold water. The SEC had a decent post season so far, but their east champ got mauled by Michigan today. UTenn did serve notice that Butch might finally have them there, when they similarly routed Northwestern. It's not been a great post season for the Big Ten either, nor for the ACC, except for Clemson. UNC lost to a team without a quarterback. They were the second best team in their conference. Their third best, Florida State, lost to UHouston. NC State got mauled. Miami lost. They did get an OT win from Duke over Indiana with the losing field goal miss disputed. VaTech beat Tulsa. Louisville beat a A&M team missing their top two quarterbacks. Pitt lost to Navy.

Fact is that Alabama is the only SEC school in the Top Ten for all time winning percentage just decimal points ahead of two Big 12 schools.....OU and Texas. Each team barely under 72%. Arkansas is # 34 with a 58% winning percent, just behind Bowling Green and ahead of Western Kentucky. LMAO. I lived in Little Rock for two of the longest years of my career.
