First six baskets were all from three for an early lead. Then Nova got close at half.

The Sooners were up 21 with two and a half left. Spangler just completed a double double with both ends of a one and one. 76-55 Sooners with 1:40 left. They were having a hard time focusing on the basket early. Lost of lateral light on the floor. Villanova is 4-29 from three. No wonder it's not close.

Sooners beat previously undefeated and number nine ranked Villanova Wildcats 78-55.
Wow. Impressive. Need to find time to sit down and watch an entire game but I already know they play defense...Kruger demands. And as we all know, defense wins Championships in football AND basketball.

I watched my daughter and her family sitting a few rows behind the OU bench--so cool. I've played a few times on that floor. The night before the attack on Pearl Harbor saw a large band concert in that arena. Lots of history there.

That might be the wow of the week.

If you served in the Navy at Pearl or in the service anywhere, thanks for your service.

Sadly I totally missed it. I knew that the game was going to be on a 6, but got out of work late and went on to normal life survival stuff like driving home. I hope all the football faithful can get behind this team as I think it might be a very special season for them...again slaps myself upside the head. You retired folks?...lucky you!

Yep, hells bells, these Sooners shoot treys as much as deuces...they're really fly.

Especially on defense.
