Have you ever coincidentally hooked a fish by a sliver of its tail and reeled it in only to find out it was a throw-back-trash-fish, lots of bones and minimal edible meat but initially, when hooked you thought it was a world-record-best-fish-ever? The thought occurred to me that this is TBOW. He does just enough to hook you and keep you (world-class offense) but isn’t worth a damn in the end (Defense, Recruiting, and Special Teams). And the next sucker to hook it (USC) will think the same...then reality sets in…
But all the time you spent screwing around catching that fish was time you could have spent catching the real deal…(BV).
