Many schools will pay an arm and a leg for potential (i.e., a high school ranking). Many schools will pay an arm and a leg for production (i.e., a transfer portal player). That bears the question, which should be prioritized?
I don’t know the answer to that question. What I do know is that the 5*+ that just entered the transfer portal didn’t produce enough in 2024 to justify getting paid the same amount in 2025. That’s not my opinion, that’s a straight fact. If you’re a fan and can’t understand that, I don’t know what to tell you.
