Really? I know he wasn't playing much but that is a bit surprising given that he is a senior.
what draft stockWell, probably trying to tweak his draft stock.
If that's the case I've no problem with it.
It always comes down to the $$.
What's telling is how Coach Stoops graciously handles players wanting to transfer versus what is happening in Aggyland.
Gotta keep ALL your coaches on the same page.

How exactly would it open up another scholarship?? With Ross being a senior, wouldn't his scholarship spot be open for the 2017 class since his eligibility would be exhausted before NSD anyways??That and it opens another scholarship. Looks like we are onto a 4 star RB out of Lakeland, Fl.

Lol, nah I was asking more out of me not knowing how the process works. I just assumed his scholarship would be open for the 2017 classe since he is a senior. I figured you knew something about the process that I didn't.Hey, don't confuse me.....Well maybe a walk-on will get his '16 schooly. Well it sounded good when I typed it...HA!
He always seemed to hit the holes full speed ahead on his kickoffs and he was often rewarded. As a running back, he kinda reminded me of Renaldo Works. Big, physical guy that tip toed around too much instead of just lowering his head. Could he be a kickoff return specialist in the NFL? Not sure, but I think that is his best bet.One thing I will recall about Ross and his time at OU.....his kickoff returns for touchdowns always seemed to come at clutch times....West Virginia (2014), Texas (2014), OSU (2015).
Many of his returns were also good enough to get OU out to the 25 yard line and beyond.
